Tips of the Day

The Etiquette School of Dana Point provides currently researched and contemporary etiquette and dining training, presented in the most professional manner. Seminars and briefings offer universally recognized and accepted personal behavior models to groups or individuals. The programs utilize comprehensive, illustrated workbooks, inter-active activities and support material. It is the goal of The Etiquette School to foster personal qualities of civility, adaptability, persuasiveness, leadership and excellence in the business and social arenas.

In today's increasingly global society, technical knowledge is no longer enough to ensure success. Sophistication is more and more the catchword. Given a choice between two equally talented individuals, corporations from America and elsewhere will choose the candidate with the greater interpersonal skills to represent it. The Etiquette School understands this, and our training programs are appropriately focused to help promote the required sophistication and self-awareness needed for success in today's corporate environment.

We offer a full range of individually designed programs to suit your needs.

Corporate

The mission of our corporate training seminars is to enhance the interpersonal skills and professional presence of each participant, and to develop a competitive edge using up-to-the-minute and correct information. The seminars are tailored to reflect the content, logistics and needs of participants.

Seminars include...

  • Business Protocols
  • Business and Social Dining Skills
  • International Protocol

Corporate seminars are held on-site or at a site chosen by the participants. Executive briefings, one-half or full-day seminars, and individual consultations may also be scheduled.

Colleges and Graduate Schools

Programs for colleges and graduate schools are similar in content to those organised for business, but customised to reflect the needs of young professionals about to enter the workforce. These programs may be presented through the college's career center and other organisations, such as fraternities and sororities.

Young Adults and Children

Designed to give your children a gift that will last a lifetime, these fun and interactive programs include role-playing exercises, instructive materials, and a workbook for each student to keep as a reference guide. Each program is age appropriate, and fosters confidence and leadership skills.

Instruction include...

  • Children's Etiquette and Dining Manners (ages 9-12)
  • Young Adult Etiquette and Dining Skills  (ages 13-17)

These programs are offered through private schools and clubs upon request.  Individual instruction is available by appointment.
